TextLess is an app that aims to reduce texting and driving.When a driver puts a phone in the app's driver mode and exceeds 15mph, an automated response informs the text sender that the recipient is driving and will respond when it is safe. While the app is in use, the phone is still active and can send and receive calls and texts if necessary, but it removes the driver's urgent impulse to respond to text messages. Once the sender receives the automated message, he or she is less likely to continue texting and distracting the driver. By switching to passenger mode, passengers can send and receive texts as usual. The TextLess automated response is fully customizable.
